If you’ve been keeping up with my Instagram feed or Snapchat, this “surprise” won’t be much of a surprise to you. In case you’re not sure what it is I am referring to, I’ve been keeping a little (ok, a BIG) secret for TWO months and finally announced the amazing news the day of through my social media.
Recently, I made a pretty impulsive decision. One that I knew would change my life, career, and perspective indefinitely. Experiencing fashion week has been a lifelong dream of mine, along with traveling alone at least once in my life. One night at about 3-something a.m., being the night owl that I am I began to browse the web for flights as getting away seemed like the right thing to do. With fashion week around the corner, going to New York was cutting it too close from the night I was doing this little research, so I thought “Which city showcases fashion week shortly after NYFW?”. Not even an hour after switching back and forth from tab to tab, I checked my bank account to reassure I had the proper funds and booked a flight to London.
